Sports Court Generator

Official courts, fields and rinks with lines, goals and nets

Sports Court Generator builds playing surfaces for 26 sports inside Blender, drawn to the rule books. Pick a sport and a rules variant (FIBA, NBA, NCAA or high school basketball, ITF tennis, FIFA soccer, NHL or IIHF hockey, NFL or CFL football and many more) and you get the court at its official size with every line, arc, circle, hash mark and painted area in the right place, plus the goals, hoops, nets and posts that belong on it.

Every court is a set of clean, UV-mapped meshes in real meters, with the origin on the ground in the middle of the field. Change the size inside the range the rules allow and the markings follow; switch the surface from maple to acrylic, clay, grass, turf, sand, ice or rubber; add volleyball and badminton lines over a basketball court; put three tennis courts side by side; then fence it, light it, put benches and a scoreboard beside it and wear it in.

One click per sport

Click a sport in the sidebar and the court appears at its official size; the preset pictures switch the look.

Drag the length and width: the boxes, arcs and spots keep their official sizes while the pitch grows or shrinks.

Questions

Which Blender versions are supported?

Blender 4.2 and newer. It is tested on Blender 4.2, 4.5 and 5.2 LTS.

Are the dimensions and markings official?

Each rules variant uses the dimensions from its governing body (FIBA, NBA, NCAA, ITF, FIVB, BWF, IHF, FIFA, FIH, NHL, IIHF, World Rugby, MLB, ICC, World Athletics and others), including line widths. Where a rule book allows a range, the official size is the standard one and you can set any size inside the range.

Can I use the courts in a game engine?

Yes. Every part is a clean, UV-mapped mesh with Principled BSDF materials and image textures. Make LODs creates joined LOD0 to LOD2 copies, and Convert to Mesh makes plain meshes for FBX or glTF export. The wear map uses a second UV map called Court.

Does it include stands or a stadium?

No, it builds the field of play and what stands on and around it: goals, nets, benches, scoreboards, fences, walls and floodlights. For stands use our Stadium Generator.
