Greenhouse Generator builds photorealistic greenhouses inside Blender: a white-painted Victorian glasshouse with cresting and finials, a cedar lean-to against a brick wall, a curvilinear iron palm house, a geodesic dome, a polytunnel or a whole commercial Venlo range. Pick one of 30 designs from a picture gallery, then change anything. The greenhouse rebuilds live as you drag a slider.
Fifteen greenhouse types cover the real world of glasshouses: span house, lean-to, Victorian conservatory, curvilinear, A-frame, orangery, cold frame, Dutch light, polytunnel, gothic arch, gothic range, Venlo, geodesic dome, pavilion and palm house. Real proportions, real glazing bars, knee walls, doors, roof vents, gutters, downpipes and water butts.
The inside is furnished too: slatted staging, raised beds, nursery tables, a conservatory with a bistro table or a planted central bed. Plants fill it, from geraniums and tomatoes to palms and cacti, built as shared instances so a crowded greenhouse stays fast. Ivy grows over the frame with a port of Blender's classic IvyGen, and the glass weathers with dust, rain streaks, algae along the bars, condensation and broken panes.

Requires Blender 4.2 or newer. Tested on Blender 4.2, 4.5 and 5.2 LTS.
Install in under a minute (Blender 4.2+)
- In Blender open Edit › Preferences › Get Extensions.
- Open the arrow menu at the top right and choose Install from Disk.
- Pick the downloaded zip. Do not unzip it.
Questions
Which Blender versions are supported?
Blender 4.2 and newer. It is tested on Blender 4.2, 4.5 and 5.2 LTS.
Will a greenhouse full of plants slow my scene down?
No. Every plant is an instance of a shared plant model, so hundreds of plants cost little memory. The detail setting lowers or raises plant and frame detail for the whole greenhouse.
Where does the ivy come from?
It is a port of IvyGen, the ivy generator that shipped with Blender (GPL), rewritten to grow over the greenhouse frame and glass. Its original copyright notice is kept.
Does it work in EEVEE?
Yes, in both Cycles and EEVEE. Cycles gives the most realistic glass and shadows.
